Are you looking for ways to supporting your child’s development but aren’t sure how?

By age three, approximately 80% of a child's brain development has already occurred. This critical early period establishes the foundation for their cognitive abilities, communication skills, and social interactions. Studies indicate that high-quality experiences during these formative years significantly influence a child's capacity to learn, adapt, and achieve success—both academically and throughout their lifetime. Establishing strong developmental foundations during these crucial early years provides children with the best possible start in life.

At just 2 years old, our daughter has blossomed under Sharon’s nurturing and engaging approach, and the progress she’s made in her development has been remarkable.

Developmental Play Sessions

With a focus on your child’s early learning journey, I now offer small group and 1 to 1 sessions created to build confidence and ease the transition into a structured learning setting.

My play-based sessions are tailored for children aged 9 months to 3 years and are carefully structured to support key areas of early development. Through carefully chosen activities, we encourage hand-eye coordination and bilateral coordination—both essential for everyday tasks such as eating, dressing, tying shoelaces, and eventually writing. We also develop fine and gross motor skills, along with balance and body control, helping children build the strength and control needed to stay engaged during seated tasks.

Our sessions introduce early literacy and numeracy concepts through fun, interactive games that build focus, problem-solving skills, and confidence. With individualised attention and close collaboration with parents, I nurture each child’s curiosity and love of learning while laying a strong foundation for future growth and school readiness.

Sessions follow a term-time structure and also run during some holiday periods.

Our Programmes:

9 to 12 Months:

A relaxed, open-play environment where infants can explore, interact, and engage with developmental activities at their own pace. The focus is on fostering curiosity and supporting foundational motor skills as babies begin to crawl, grasp, and move with increasing independence.

13 to 18 Months:

Hands-on activities designed to strengthen hand-eye coordination while encouraging early thinking skills such as observation, reasoning, and problem-solving—all essential for healthy cognitive development.

19 to 24 Months:

Engaging play that supports the development of fine and gross motor skills while encouraging detailed observation and longer attention spans. Activities such as puzzles, colour matching, and object transferring help children build coordination, visual discrimination, and sustained focus through purposeful play.

25 to 30 Months:

Interactive sessions that introduce early math concepts and phonics sounds, while developing problem-solving and logical thinking skills. Games and activities involve counting, sorting, size discrimination, observation, and hand-strengthening tasks, helping build a solid foundation for both numeracy, literacy, and cognitive growth through hands-on exploration.

31 to 36 Months:

Exercises introduce phonics, number recognition, and problem-solving while continuing to support fine motor development and critical thinking. These sessions help prepare your child for transitioning to a structured learning setting by building confidence, focus, and familiarity with key early learning concepts.

Meet Sharon

I have never been very good with children and I will never be the ‘fun’ parent. When my daughter was born I was told that as she grew I would evolve as well. But before I knew it I found myself face to face with a toddler and I didn’t know what to do with her. Out of desperation, I started looking for ways to keep her engaged and stimulated through play. I discovered that toys didn’t have to be bright coloured and plastic, so I embarked on a mission to find the most beautiful toys that could also provide my daughter with opportunities to develop and grow. As I began to share our journey on social media I found that so many parents were looking for the same thing. This is why I wanted to create a resource for parents like me to help navigate the world of learning through play.
